Steve Kidd, Partner
Steve Kidd has over 40 years of extensive knowledge and experience in the Group Benefits and Retirement industry. He founded Steve Kidd Employee Benefits Consulting Inc. with a focus on providing specialized consulting services, advice, education and support to employers who offer benefits and retirement plans to their employees.
Steve is an advocate for his clients, and provides exceptional service based on his thorough understanding of his customer’s needs. He negotiates renewals, conducts analyses of the financial results of benefit plans, and offers comprehensive investment advice. He always makes recommendations in the best interest of his clients.
Steve’s objective is to provide clear and detailed information to employers and plan members with a focus on education and understanding.
Steve has a keen interest in antique cars and tractors.
Courtney Proudfoot, Partner
Courtney was born and raised in Kitchener Waterloo and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier. She lives in Waterloo with her husband Adam and her two children. Courtney is a proud Mom and loves running, hiking and just about anything that involves adventure and the outdoors. In the winter months you will find her on the ski slopes chasing her children or cheering them on at an arena playing hockey or ringette. In the summer, she spends her weekends at the beach in Point Clark enjoying time with family.
Courtney has worked in the financial services industry since 2005, specializing in employee benefits and group retirement savings plans. She loves partnering with business owners to better understand the needs of the company and its employees and will work closely with the business owner to build and implement a customized plan. She takes an educational and service-based approach ensuring business owners, plan administrators and plan members understand and see value in their plan.
As part of the service commitment to companies, Courtney delivers educational workplace seminars to employees focusing on many aspects of financial well being. She will also work with your employees and their families to complete their own personalized, comprehensive financial plan including retirement planning, investment advice and life and health insurance planning. Courtney's priority is to educate clients so they can make informed decisions, grow their savings and achieve lifetime financial security.
Angela Gracias, Manager of Operations
Angela Gracias has over 12 years’ experience in the Group Benefits and Retirement industry. She started her career working for a prominent insurance company as an Account Representative, servicing and managing a large block of group retirement clients.
Angela joined Steve Kidd Employee Benefits Consulting Inc. in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. She gained valuable experience working alongside the Founder of the organization, and is currently fulfilling the role of Manager of Operations for the company.
In addition to managing the daily operations of the firm, Angela is passionate about assisting clients and providing effective and accurate solutions in a timely manner. She acts as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, and strives to understand the needs of clients. Angela also assists with developing renewal packages, claims experience and rates of return reporting, coordinating market surveys, and resolving various claims and administrative concerns.
When Angela is not at the office, you can find her on the basketball court, Latin dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
